This is a third-party community project by kibblerz, not DLSS 5 Swapper. ReShade (with addon support) and NVIDIA runtime DLLs are user-supplied and are not in the ZIPs. Treat it as a single-player experiment — games with anti-cheat can block injected files.

DLSS5 ReShade AIO adds DLSS 5 Neural Rendering, DLAA/DLSS Super Resolution, and Frame Generation through ReShade. The 64-bit addon supports D3D9, D3D11, D3D12, and Vulkan. The 32-bit package captures frames in-game and runs the same 64-bit pipeline inside a bundled x64 carrier. It is not bundled with DLSS 5 Swapper.

Install (64-bit games):

  1. Install 64-bit ReShade with addon support beside the game's real executable.
  2. Extract the entire 64-bit AIO ZIP into that same folder. Keep the included reshade-shaders folders intact.
  3. Place your own copies of nvngx_dlssnr.dll, nvngx_dlss.dll, and — for Frame Generation — nvngx_dlssg.dll directly beside the game executable, standalone-dlssnr.addon64, and the included nvngx.dll bridge.
  4. Start the game and confirm Standalone DLSS-NR + SR appears in ReShade's Add-ons tab.

Choose one ZIP from v2.2.4: DLSS5-ReShade-AIO-v2.2.4-64-bit.zip or DLSS5-ReShade-AIO-v2.2.4-32-bit.zip. Extract it into the folder that already contains the game executable and matching ReShade DLL. Do not combine the two packages.

What changed in v2.2.4

v2.2.4 adds live Optical Flow controls for 32-bit games. You can toggle Optical Flow and change its working resolution from the 32-bit ReShade menu without restarting the game or host.

This release retains the v2.2.3 low-latency Optical Flow defaults and all existing 32-bit and 64-bit functionality. No separate Optical Flow DLL is required — the addon uses nvofapi64.dll from the NVIDIA display driver.

Highlights:

  • Optical Flow can now be enabled or disabled live from the 32-bit ReShade menu.
  • Optical Flow working resolution changes now apply live in 32-bit games.
  • Both controls use the x64 addon's safe reconfiguration path, avoiding a game or host restart.
  • Keeps v2.2.3 low-latency Optical Flow defaults and prior 32-bit / 64-bit features.

32-bit games

A 32-bit game cannot load 64-bit ReShade or NVIDIA DLLs. The 32-bit ZIP captures frames in the game folder and runs NR/DLSS/FG inside host64.

  • Install 32-bit ReShade with addon support beside the game executable, including the standard shader package so ReShade.fxh is present.
  • Extract the entire 32-bit AIO ZIP into that folder. Do not move files out of host64.
  • Run the ReShade installer again on host64\AIO DLSS5 32-bit Wrapper.exe, choose DirectX 10/11/12, and install 64-bit ReShade with addon support. The proxy should be host64\dxgi.dll.
  • Put nvngx_dlssnr.dll, nvngx_dlss.dll, and nvngx_dlssg.dll in host64 — not beside the 32-bit executable.
  • Start the game normally. standalone-dlssnr.addon32 launches the wrapper. Use the AIO page in the game's ReShade Add-ons tab.

Native 32-bit D3D9 and D3D11 are supported. x86 OpenGL and Vulkan transports remain experimental. dgVoodoo is not required.

First-launch setup

  • Disable the game's built-in DLSS/upscaling, Frame Generation, and antialiasing. The addon supplies its own pipeline.
  • Use windowed mode when available. It usually exposes a lower-resolution backbuffer for DLSS Super Resolution.
  • If the game resolution matches the monitor, the addon uses DLAA. If it is lower, it uses DLSS Super Resolution to reconstruct to native size.
  • Neural Rendering and Frame Generation start enabled and can be toggled independently in ReShade.
  • NR pass count (2x / 3x) is a session-only quality experiment. It always returns to 1x on the next launch.
  • Confirm Optical Flow reports the NVIDIA hardware provider rather than VORT or zero-motion fallback.
  • If performance is stuttery, cap the in-game or external FPS below the uncapped source rate. A lower cap can raise the final displayed FPS when NR + Frame Generation overload the queue.

Hotkeys

  • F10 — compare the processed image with a basic view of the pipeline source.
  • Ctrl+Alt+P — cycle DLSS render presets J → K → L → M. Preset L is the recommended default.
  • Ctrl+Alt+N — cycle Neural Rendering models 1 → 2 → 3.
  • If a 2.0 game crashes before ReShade opens, hold F8 while launching for serialized safe mode.
  • Logs: %LOCALAPPDATA%\RHI\Logs\standalone-dlssnr.log.

Requirements

  • Windows game with ReShade addon support installed for the matching architecture (32-bit or 64-bit).
  • An NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU and a current Game Ready driver (Optical Flow uses the driver's nvofapi64.dll).
  • Your own copies of nvngx_dlssnr.dll, nvngx_dlss.dll, and optionally nvngx_dlssg.dll. The ZIP's nvngx.dll is the project's caller bridge, not an NVIDIA runtime.
  • Pick the ZIP that matches the game. Do not mix 1.x and 2.0 addon binaries. If a title worked in 1.x but not 2.0, use v1.7.24.
  • Games with anti-cheat can block injected DLLs and ReShade. Use this only as a single-player experiment, not on protected online titles.

FAQ

  • Is this DLSS 5 Swapper? No. Swapper is a Windows library tool that installs and restores DLSS files in a game folder. DLSS5 ReShade AIO is a separate ReShade addon by kibblerz.
  • Are ReShade and NVIDIA DLLs included? No. Download only the architecture ZIP and follow README_FIRST.txt inside it. ReShade and NGX runtime files stay user-supplied.
  • Do I need a separate Optical Flow DLL? No. Version 2.2.4 loads Optical Flow from the NVIDIA driver. Do not drop in a loose nvofapi64.dll.
